Scott will be giving this talk as part of a session at a conference called “New Frontiers 2012” that is being held at York University in Toronto, Ontario, from February 23 to 25, 2012. Scott’s presentation will be based on reflections coming out of the project that lead to Gender and Sexuality: Canadian History Through the Stories of Activists and Resisting the State: Canadian History Through the Stories of Activists, and will focus on what is specific about doing history grounded in movements and communities.
