This six minute audio clip features anti-psychiatry activist Don Weitz talking about his brutal experiences of psychiatric incarceration in an asylum in the northeastern United States in the early 1950s — experiences which, later in life, contributed to his politicization and his steadfast, radical involvement in the opposition to psychiatric oppression and the promotion of non-psychiatric alternatives.
