This six-minute audio clip features Sadeqa Siddiqui talking about the role that she and other women involved in the South Asian Women’s Community Centre in Montreal played in a number of major women’s marches — the “Bread and Roses March” for Quebec women in 1995, the pan-Canadian “Women’s March Against Poverty” in 1996, and the first “World March of Women” in 2000.
